HTC MAGIC

HTC MAGIC
FANTASTIC, SUPERB, MIND BLOWING...
These are few words which are expressed by every human-being on seeing this wonderfully built, beautifully finished mobile phone.
This is the second mobile phone released by the Korean company based on the Google's Android operating system next to HTC G1 . The Google's operating system which comes bundled with this mobile phone is a upgraded version of the previously released OS and is called as the "CUPCAKE" which has not only fixed bugs or issues from their first foray but have introduced a lot more features which is sure to bring a open source mobile revolution.
The MAGIC with its good looks and rich featured operating system is certainly a replacement for those who do not want to opt for APPLE iphone.
The MAGIC sports with a 3.2 inch touch screen TFT that displays 65K colors at a resolution of 320x480.This mobile phone is equipped with an accelerometer and do not has a keypad, unlike its predecessor HTC G1, but relies on the virtual keyboard .
Unlike all other phones which come with a single button, HTC MAGIC has been provided with a trackball as we see usually in all Blackberry mobiles which act as a cursor for navigation. Surrounding the track ball are provided 6 buttons, 3 on each side. The buttons on the left side have been provided for answering a call, opening the menu or going to the home screen and the buttons on the right side are provided for ending calls, zooming in and going back.
MAGIC is provided with a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus that offers a maximum resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. Recording feature is available but the lack of LED flash can be a drawback for this mobile.
The device is powered by a QUALCOMM MSM 7210A 528 MHz processor, backed up by 192MB RAM and 512MB ROM.
One of the major flaws of HTC MAGIC is the lack of 3.5mm port for headphones. Instead of 3.5mm port, the packaged earphones connect to USB port.
The MAGIC has got a 1340mAh battery which claims to offer seven and half-hours of talk time, while lasting over 17 days in standby mode.
Overall the great looks with rich features are tempting people a lot to get a grasp of this mobile phone which claims to give a serious competition for the APPLE iPhone...
